THE DOUBLE TRAILER 2 (Video) – Imagine coming to face to face with your doppelgänger, but instead of a funny interaction, the other “you” begins taking over your life. In The Double, Jesse Eisenberg must stop his lookalike from ruining everything.
Based on the short story by Fyodor Dostoevsky, the “comedy” stars Eisenberg as Simon, a shy guy who is ignored by his co-workers and lives a lonely life. When he encounters James, a guy that looks exactly like him, he is intrigued but also paranoid. Unlike Simon, James is extroverted and cunning, and he slowly takes over Simon’s life.
The Double is directed by Richard Ayoade and also stars Mia Wasikowska, Wallace Shawn,Noah Taylor, Yasmin Paige, and James Fox.
PLOT: A comedy centered on a man who is driven insane by the appearance of his doppelgänger.
